          A.          WE/I____________________ AGREE TO THE TERMS SET FORTH, BELOW, FOR THE USE OF THE AMERICAN LEGION HALL AMERICAN LEGION HALL AND/OR IT 'S OUTSIDE RECREATIONAL AREA, IN ORDER TO HOLD A __________________________ ON ___________ 2010

                 1   WE /I FURTHER AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES TO THE PREMISES , INCLUDING FURNITURE, FIXTURES, ETC. AND TO BE LIABLE FOR RESONABLE COST OF REPLACEMENT AND/OR REPAIRS TO ALL DAMAGES. IT IS FURTHER UNDERSTOOD THAT DURING THE PERIOD OF THE RENTAL, WE/I ACCEPT FULL CONTROL AND RESPONSIBILTY OVER THAT PORTION OF THE PREMISIES BEING USED AND AGREE TO MAINTAIN SAID PORTION IN A SAFE AND ORDERLY CONDITION.

 

                 2.  A BASIC PRICE OF ($29.75) PER PERSON, FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE HUNDRED (100) PEOPLE, INCLUDES, THE USE OF THE HALL, HALL

SET-UP AND HALL CLEAN-UP, BARTENDER, LINEN, TABLE COVERS AND NAPKINS, OPEN BAR FOR (4) HOURS, AND DINNER BASED ON SELECTION MADE ON PAGE 3, FROM, EITHER MENU #1 OR MENU # 2.

 

                 3.  A DEPOSIT OF ($ 300.00) MUST BE MADE WHEN RESERVATIONS ARE CONSUMATED.  THE BALANCE OF ALL COSTS INCURRED, WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN TEN (10) DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED FUNCTION. THE DEPOSIT IS FORFIETED, IF, THE CLUB MANAGER, IS NOT NOTIFIED, AT LEAST FORTY - FIVE (45) DAYS, IN ADVANCE, OF ANY CANCELLATION, IN WRITING, STATING THE REASON (S) FOR THE CANCELLATION.

 

                 4.  POST #217 AGREES TO PROVIDE AND SERVE A MIN­IMUM OF ______MEALS, CONSISTING OF SELECTIONS MADE FROM EITHER MENU #1 OR MENU #2, BY LESSEE, FROM PAGE 3. FINAL HEAD COUNT MUST BE FURNISHED TO THE CLUB MANAGER, AT LEAST, TEN (10) DAYS, PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED FUNCTION DATE.

5.  POST #217 HEREBY AGREES TO PROVIDE UP TO AN ADDTIONAL _________ MEALS, AT THE SAME PRICE OF ( $29.75 ) PER PERSON, AS REQUESTED BY THE LESSEE.

 

6.  ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL NOT BE SERVED TO MINORS. AN I.D. CARD MUST BE PRESENTED UPON REQUEST! ALL FUNCTIONS WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE LIQUOR LAWS OF BOTH THE STATE OF MARYLAND AND PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY.

 

7   NO PART OF THE PREMISES IDENTIFIED IN PARAGRAPH A, SHALL BE SUB-LET.

 

8.  THE CLUB MANAGER MUST BE CONSULTED WITH AND GIVE APPROVAL TO ALL DECORATIONS TO BE USED. NOTHING IS TO BE HUNG FROM THE CEILING OR COVER THE AMERICAN LEGION EMBLEM, AT ANY TIME.

 

9.  IF THE LESSEE REQUESTS THAT A TIP BOWL ,  NOT BE PUT OUT BY THE BAR TENDER(S) , THEN AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $50.00  PER BAR TENDER SHALL BE CHARGED.

 

10. CLOAKROOM FACILITIES SHALL BE THE SOLE RESPON­SIBILITY OF THE LESSEE.  POST #217 SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OF ANY ARTICLES.
